Her group explores how selective modulation of receptor signaling pathways triggers molecular mechanisms that rapidly improve mood and cognitive function. By linking receptor signaling with behavioral outcomes, she aims to guide the discovery of new therapies for mood and cognition.

dr Klaudia Lustyk
Dedicated to developing novel antipsychotics with additional efficacy in depression, anxiety, and cognitive dysfunction. She uses behavioral, biochemical, and molecular approaches to uncover receptor-based mechanisms, with further expertise in cardiovascular and safety pharmacology.

Explores how novel compounds affect executive functions and cognition. Her research combines touchscreen-based behavioral testing with molecular approaches and FRET-based fiber photometry to uncover how pharmacological modulation shapes cognitive performance and neuronal activity.

Investigates sex-related differences in behavioral and molecular responses to pharmacological treatments and their effects on cognitive processes in health and affective disorders, combining behavioral analyses with experimental approaches to reveal underlying mechanisms and translational relevance.
